Adam S. Clavell

After spending 14 years practicing in and around the Providence area in some of the largest and most well-regarded law firms in Rhode Island, Adam S. Clavell elected to continue his practice in a form that would allow him to service the needs of his clients in a more efficient and cost-effective manner.  He presently concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial lending, commercial real estate, loan workouts and recoveries, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law.  Adam also served as an adjunct professor teaching Real Estate Law in the Bristol Community College paralegal program.

Before he joined our firm, Adam was an Associate at Shechtman Halperin Savage, LLP, where he concentrated his practice in the areas of commercial lending, commercial loan recovery and corporate transactions.  Prior to his time at Shechtman Halperin Savage, LLP, Adam served as an Associate at Nadeau & Simmons, P.C., where he concentrated in commercial lending transactions, securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions.  Adam received a B.A. from Providence College in 1994 with a double-major in Chemistry and History.  He received his law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1997.  Adam is admitted to practice law in all state courts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and the federal courts in Massachusetts.

Thomas J. DiSanto, Of Counsel

Thomas J. DiSanto is Of Counsel to Clavell & Associates, P.C., focusing on the areas of risk management, and business planning.  Tom graduated cum laude from Providence College in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree and received his law degree with honors from Suffolk University Law School in 1997. Before joining our firm as Of Counsel, Tom served as Of Counsel to Nadeau & Simmons, P.C. concentrating in the areas of insurance defense litigation, general civil litigation, corporate, banking and securities law, and as an associate at Gunning, LaFazia & Gnys practicing insurance defense litigation. He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

The Rhode Island Supreme Court licenses all lawyers in the general practice of law. The Rhode Island Supreme Court does not license or certify any lawyer as an expert or specialist in any particular field of practice.
